Kim joined Name Benefits in 2004, as a New Business Coordinator for Group Medical Benefits. Her past experience in small business HR and Finance, served in her ability to understand the complexities and challenges many small businesses face with group medical insurance, from getting started with a group medical plan, to cost, to administration, assisting employees in understanding their coverage and claims, and the numerous other items related to employee benefits. As a broker Kim’s focus was to streamline both the new medical and renewal process for clients as well the HR burdens that many small businesses deal with. She believes firm follow through, education and communication are the key to this. Her commitment to service and value has allowed clients to make sound decisions regarding their employee benefit plans. In January 2008, Kim became a member of Name Benefits
Kim continues to focus on educating clients on the various trends, products and legislation with in healthcare. As an active member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) Kim is able to leverage the valuable educational tools and resources, to remain informed and up to date on employee benefit topics. She continually seeks additional continuing education courses as well, to ensure she remains on par with the continuous changes in employee benefits. Kim continues to serve and update new and existing clients, as well as advisors to legislation and trends in healthcare and benefit planning.
